ScottishPower Renewables British Pipe Band Championships - Annan 2011

On Saturday 25 June 2011, Annan, in Dumfries and Galloway, is hosting the British Pipe Band Championships for the second year running.

This event is one of the world's most spectacular gatherings of highland music and culture.

Around 130 pipe bands will compete to be British Champions at their grade in front of a crowd of 6,000 spectators.

Other entertainment on the day will include a Family Activity Zone, including the opportunity to try circus skills, disc golf, and cricket.
